Veritas is one of my favorite stores/restaurants in the area. A huge part of it is the owner who genuinely cares about his customers. The food in the restaurant is great and the wine selection is impeccable. This isn’t a discount wine shop, but what you will get is carefully selected wine and craft beers, delicious food and attention that can only come from a small business.

Amazing food and relaxing vibes. Need a recommendation for a good wine? Venu is your guy! New to wine, the Veritas brand will guide you through the history, science, and joy of wine! 10 out of 10!!!

I don't know that I've ever found this place open when it's advertised to be. Change your sign to noon-ISH. Update* I've attempted to stop by this store at least another 6 times over the past few months with the store NEVER being open. I don't know how they stay in business. But they seem to be wasting a prime buisness location with either incompetence or laziness. Best of luck with your undoubtedly struggling buisness.

Veritas is a unique place to drink, relax and listen to good music. You can even bring your dog. If you want to have a drink and meet a new friend, Veritas is the place to go. One side of the shop is an actual store with a great selection of wine and beer. The hidden treasure is in the back where you can enjoy a drink without getting charged extra. The ambiance is relaxed and there's always a good laugh to be had. I recommend stopping in day or night!

Just stopped in the other night for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Greeted by the friendly dog and the owner. Had a couple of drinks at the bar and the bar tender (I think Mike) was very friendly and made you feel welcomed. Had a couple of scotch drinks that I never tasted before and Mike let me have a small free taste of a couple more so I could then buy a bottle next door. It's great taste testing before spending a lot of money on Scotch. Other patrons were friendly and it's a comfortable place to start up a conversation with someone you've never met. Warm, relaxing atmosphere. Reminds me of little bars found in Philly or New York. Prices may be a bit higher than your average bar but that's to be expected with great service and style that you can't find going to a strip mall liquor store or Wild Wings. One other thing to mention (and some may take this as a good OR bad thing) but there is no TV anywhere in the lounge or bar area. Music was playing in the background softly enough to talk without yelling. So if you're going to watch a game then you may have to look elsewhere. Although I enjoyed not having the TV because it encourages you to engage in an actual conversation with someone. FYI-there is a Spa/hair salon next door so a perfect excuse to take the wife/girlfriend and treat them to a manicure while you enjoy the next door lounge at Veritas!
