They offer a great selection of locally distilled alcohol and their staff is extremely knowledgeable. They have many Republic Restoratives gin and whiskey products, which make great gifts for out of towners. I also think their price point is extremely competitive considering they're on the wharf. They are boutique, so don't expect to find every liquor option here, but you'll at least have good options to choose from.

Please do not go to this store. The gentleman is just disrespectful. He did not greet us when we entered the store and immediately started following us around as if we were going to steal. When I asked him to show me where his tequila was he got entirely too close (smelled like a carton of cigarettes) and proceeded to state that he does not carry the brands you would see in an ordinary liquor store and “you probably have never heard of the brands I have here”. However, his selection is far from exclusive and a nearby liquor store had the same brand of tequila that he had in his store and was cheaper (see photo). Instead of trying to sell me a product he made a lot of assumptions about me and the group I was with. All of us just left a conference and we were in business attire but I guess because we were not Caucasian he did not want our business.

This store has a lovely selection that isn't your standard fare from a larger corporate-owned store; and its staff and owner are friendly and knowledgeable. Plus it's in a fantastic location. If you're near the Wharf, this is the place you want to go (and you'll save quite a bit compared to the restaurants/hotels around that area!)

I would like to have given them a higher score because their wine selection was quite good and represented all broad spectrum of regions and prices. However, the nonchalant service came across as very judgmental. He had me pegged before I had even made a selection and did everything but ignore me.

I stopped in to purchase Champagne. When asked where it was, the person behind the counter looked up quickly and waved his arm in the direction of the Champagne, “over there.” It wasn’t until I asked him a few questions that he decided to engage. When I was ready to checkout, the shop did not have Apple/or electronic pay. I thought that I’d return since I live across the street but decided to purchase elsewhere.
