Loved this spot! Great Distillery tour with plenty of history and delicious spirits. Staff are friendly and I highly recommend their Cocktail Bar which has some really good cocktails. Cool vibe inside and reasonable prices.

Visited Chicago from New Hampshire. Visited three distilleries and Koval was the clear winner of the three. Had their liqueur flight and their gin flight. While their base gin is fairly standard, their barrel gin is significantly better than other aged gins I’ve had previously. Their cranberry gin liqueur is adult cranberry juice and I need more of it in my life. The three liqueurs we tried were the chrysanthemum & honey, coffee, and rose hip. C&H was great. I really liked the rose hip and regret not buying a bottle on our way out, but we already picked up three bottles 😅.

We had a fantastic time here today! The "tour" is less of a tour and more like a lesson - very educational. You do get a lot of tastings though! Loved their spirits and ended up taking home quite a bit to restock our bar. If you have friends visiting who love gin, whiskey, or any sort of spirits - or if you yourself are a fan - definitely check this place out. For $10, the tour is WELL worth it.

Well-made cocktails in a "buzzy" (but not pretentious) environment. Although I'm not much of a drinker, when I'm in the mood, KOVAL is a great place to visit. BONUS: go when they're hosting a maker's market.

We went there for the "tour" and taste. First thing you notice is the style, really cool!. The labels of the bottles are great, with a clean and minimalist. Had a good first impression. The guy which was the only person there, was nice at every moment, he gave us our gift shooter glass and we waited. The tour itself is not a tour, is more like a "fun class" where he teach you about history and how they do their products. We tried around nine different stuff. The ginger one is really good!. The price, I won't say they're pricey but they are not cheap either. Good quality product though. The bad thing is, there was no enough room for everyone, they should keep the number of people accepted for the "tour" to at least half of what they accept now. It was a good and fun experience. I will definitely try the coffee liquor in the future.
