Wonderful bar and equally wonderful selection of wine and spirits! Did you know that the owner is bilingual?! Chicago may be my home for me now, but being able to bring back a bottle specially bottled by Bin. 51 in Edwardsville (my hometown), holds a different weight! Will return each time I visit home. Did I mention that the prices are beyond fair!?

Love the atmosphere, owners and employees. Open, welcoming, helpful and educated on wine. I've always had a great time here...with my husband or for girls night.

Bin 51 - Great space, Brian’s awesome wine suggestions, and amazing cocktails by Rick!

The owner is great, and the new weekend bartender is a gem. I’m not sure what the wine bar hours are, though. We were there two Thursdays ago (and a couple Thursdays before that), but when we tried to go this evening we were told the bar was only open on Friday and Saturday nights and that it had been that way since COVID. I’m not questioning the hours, the owners can absolutely choose when to serve at their bar, however being told the wine bar hadn’t been open during the week since it closed for the pandemic, and knowing for a fact that we had been there twice on a Thursday in the past 6 weeks was a little frustrating.

This place is absolutely amazing. They have a very laid back unpretentious team that is very knowledgeable about everything they carry. I have been in now at least a dozen times and they have always had something new in stock. The selection is next to none for bourbon, wine, whiskey, vodka and other cordials. I started using these guys for gifts for clients because of their unique and interesting selections and it has been a wonderful investment. They carry brands that are affordable as well as items that are rare and collectible. If you are into a knowledgeable staff and amazing wine and spirits, this place is a must to have on the list.
