Sam has put an amazing amount of time and hard work to bring marengo a top notch liquor store to Marengo. His Scotch and Bourbon selection is amazing. If he doesn't have something, he will try his best to get it for you. I also like that he has a tasting bar. You are able to sample most of the selections he has before you purchase the bottle. This is a very welcoming and friendly addition to Marengo. Thanks Sam!

Sam the owner is awesome! Great place with everything you could want, including a built in bar. This is the only place I go for spirits. Very clean, very organized, and a great selection. It's hard to believe this store calls Marengo it's home. If you're looking for a great selection of whiskey, this is the place! Great 21 and 23 year old. Oh, and if you're into it, a nice cross section of cigars to go with it!

Love, love , love this place. Best selection in town! And if he happens not to have something, he does his best to find it for you! Sammy and Bobby are always so friendly and treat you like family. The bar is casual and fun to hang out at.

Never will be returning to this store after the first time entering. Walked in grabbed my usual and when I handed my ID, to whom I assume is the owner, he questioned if I was a girl. Assuming he asked this cuz I have long hair. He then laughed and said "I was just joking around" I'm clearly a dude - just have long hair Pretty disrespectful for not even saying anymore than a hello to said person.
