I've been going to this place for about a year and loved my service everytime until today. When I went to go check out what appeared to be a new employee (older woman short brown hair) questioned my ID. She wouldn't let me buy until I repeated my birthday to her as she held my card hostage. I'm not even close to being 21 anymore (sadly haha) so this was frustrating. I asked her why I needed to prove my birthday as I have a valid ID and her response was because the photo didn't look like me due to different hair color. I'm a hair stylist so my hair changes with the seasons. I also lost 50 pounds so I may look different. Having to tell someone you lost weight isn't fun and quite frankly embarrassing. Won't be shopping here anymore.

This is a small local business with really awesome staff. The liqour store clerks are all helpful and courteous. They may not have the selection of MGM or Total Wine, but on one particular occasion, I asked if they had a rather obscure brand of scotch not getting my hopes too high. The clerk told me they didn't have it but jotted down on a sheet of paper and lo and behold, it was on the shelf a week later! Top notch place, top notch customer service

Super easy to get in, find what you need from a large selection, and move on. It's interesting that they will actually attempt to get product you want if they don't stock it. That's a nice touch.

This store is definitely NOT a premier store as they claim. It is too small and cramped. A certain employee/cashier was extremely defensive, rude and belligerent to me tonite (3/9/19). Viking Liquor are the people who are VERY courteous and friendly and considerate to customers, also, MGM in Savage, MN.
