Great management, friendly service, occasional bonuses, and best prices for liquor and smokes!

This is the only store worth going to on Iowa City. The staff and owner provide exceptional customer service. They have all the products you want and more! Great hours. Prices are the same as big stores like Hyvee and sometimes even better! They run deals that blow you mind. Like buy one get one free! Follow their twitter for updates. This place is 5 star and goes above and beyond what an L store should be. Highly recommend shopping here when in town.

Not sure what happened with the negative reviews, but I just got back to pick up some company for my partner while I'm at work tomorrow (Memorial day, geez lol) Great selection of wines, beer, seltzers, and what brought the 5 stars was the whisky/whiskey wall. He recommended a few fine selections, I gave my $ range and a regular I get, let him assist someone else and found an old favorite. It was a very reasonable price, I normally shop Hy-Vee so maybe that's my problem lol. I had a great experience regardless! Don't let the haters keep you from at least going in.

Dude saw me browsing whiskey. Proceeds to ask if I like eh taylor. I say yes. He says "$200." That's a $40 bottle. I don't like people who try to take advantage of others. It's a hard bottle to find so a small mark up is fine but I'm glad I was just passing through and that this place will be easy to avoid

This place used to be run by nice guys but they seem to have new people running the store who are rude and ask gross/insulting questions to customers. My friend (who is 21) got denied a sale because she looked under 21 even though she had a valid driver license. I also was questioned about the legitness of my ID because I have short hair now and made derogatory/hateful comments about my appearance. I don't shop here anymore because of those men harassing customers
