I don’t do these things often, but if I could have given this place 0 stars I would have. I stopped in on my way home from work to see what kind of bourbon selection they had. Was absolutely astonished to see the outrageous prices this store is charging. This place has a great selection of bourbon... but no wonder because who in their right mind would purchase any of it? Everything in the store was marked up at least 10% and in some cases was well more than 200%. When I casually asked the young guy behind the counter what was up with the high prices he told me that “the store had to make a profit some way.” And when I said yeah, but who can afford to pay these prices... his response was that an elderly lady came in every week to buy a $1000 bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 15 year. What? Excuse me sir, but that’s an absolute bold face lie. It’s literally impossible. Pappy Van Winkle 23 year retails at $250. This place was charging double that for a bottle of 10 year. I have never seen anything like this place in my life. This store is the epitome of what causes the secondary bourbon market to have a terrible reputation. I will never give them my business nor will I ever tell anyone I know to stop and spend a dime with them.

I'm going to rate this store for one thing and one thing only -- its unique bourbon collection. With their proximity to Four Roses, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey, and other distilleries, they often receive drool-worthy bourbons you can't find many other places -- Pappy, Weller 12, etc. Since the bourbon gold rush started, Marshall's has raised the prices on these hard-to-find bottles (like every other liquor store has), but if you're looking for something special and can't find it anywhere else, give Marshall's a try.

Good selection and decent prices. They have a drive up window so you don't even have to get out of your car. Nice, helpful people.
