Must visit place when in Portland. This place is packed but we were lucky to find a spot at the bar. We were here for cocktails and oh my God what a treat to have them. Every cocktail is curated well and has different notes. Tom Yum punch was my favorite and Jewel of the east. Push through the book shelf and get transformed into another heavenly bar !! Our bar tender Caleb was amazing. He suggested cocktails for us and they were point on. Numerous savory cocktails on their menu!

The most innovative and amazing cocktails we’ve ever had. This place is perfect! Amazing food, great cocktails, and very very speakeasy-like vibe. Don’t go in thinking this is just a cocktail bar because it’s not that, you can even have a full meal here. Don’t miss out on the lamb. My only complaint: they don’t make desserts. We tried 3 shaken cocktails, one stirred, one clarified and one off menu based on my description of my preferences- ALL EXCELLENT! The shaken ones being my favorite as that’s my general preference. We even got the clarified mai tai to go. We went here all 3 nights we were in Portland and can confidently recommend this place to anyone.

Found this gem on my Quick tour of Portland restaurant hopping. Quaint and charming with a high-end essence yet wonderfully friendly and charming staff. Great selection of bourbon along with other cocktails and wine. However, the aura of the style and lighting definitely gave me a bourbon feel. I sat at the top bar and settled in for some mushroom toast app as perused the drink list and opting for a smoked bourbon creation of their own. It was delicious! Served with an impeccable large ice block with their logo freshly stamped into the top. The drink was served with half poured into the glass in front of me and the other half left for me for me inside a smoked and corked bottle to indulge upon when I felt ready. Thanks B & B - great stop for food, cocktail and atmosphere. Look Forward to sharing with others.

Stopped in early on a Saturday night. No line which was a pleasant surprise. Hostess brought us back for a table for two in the back by the bookshelf. Very dark. Definitely felt ambience which was great. Unfortunately, their music choice was some double bass/club themed and really killed that vibe. Drinks were recommended by the server and were interesting. Would go back for another round.

Fantastic place for creative coctails. Chic interior, well informed and friendly staff, and each drink was perfectly balanced. We happened to stop by on oyster night, 1$ oysters, we should have ordered more
