Local spirits and a small but quality food menu. Most of the spirits were good, with the lone exception being their gin. It had no noticeable juniper flavor, and the rest of the botanicals did nothing to improve things. To me, it tasted like a muddled mess. Their cocktails are average. They rely too heavily on their syrups and spices, which masks the flavor of the spirits. With all that said, the atmosphere is surprisingly intimate for being such a large space. The service is outstanding, and their food is very good. If you're a skilled mixologist, temper your enthusiasm and go here to enjoy a unique experience in downtown Carnegie.

Great Place for cocktails, delicious food, and Jazz. Last night was a Wednesday "Ramen night" and probably the last day for outside seating this season. Reggie Watkins' Quantum Jazz group was on and several young talented jazz musicians were invited to sit in and play (there were 3 tenor and 2 alto sax players among other musicians). The staff were all friendly and attentive and the small intimate crowd seem to have enjoyed the somewhat chilly evening. We will definitely come back to try other items in the menu.

Awesome night with Mel, as usual with Experimental Cocktails, only down side tasting plate had shrimp...partner is allergic to shellfish and there was no substitute. Had to purchase other food instead
