Very good selection of ales, and I was impressed with their wines as well, which are selected with great expertise. I’ve found some wines that taste twice their price, but are still affordable. Blanchard’s is also wonderfully accommodating those who don’t drink alcohol. The “shrubs” they turned me on to for an adult-feeling, complex, and still tasty cocktail are fabulous to be able to serve my friends who prefer or need that, instead of whatever I’m mixing for those who do drink. Overall, a good choice, when preparing for company, or to wet one’s own whistle.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to help you find a product, and if they don't sell it they will find out who does for you. On a trip Europe, I fell in love with a particular brand of wine. Turns out it is not sold in Massachusetts. They helped me figure out which states sell it so that I knew where I could purchase that wine in the future.
