By far the best local liquor store that I have found! Great selection of almost everything and at very fair prices. Gold’s takes care of their customers, which is why I will keep coming back.

I spent a month in Newport for a work trip back in FEB of 2020. I’m always looking for harder to find bourbons at a reasonable price. Gold’s Wine and Spirts happen to have Weller 107. The clerk was a little reluctant to sell it to me because I was from out of town and for all they knew I was going to turn around a resell it for a higher price (it happens here in VA all the time). Well I am happy to report that I finally cracked open that bottle of Weller 107 2 and 1/2 years later to celebrate the birth of my son. Thank you Gold’s for allowing me the opportunity to celebrate the birth of my son was an amazing bourbon and not charging and arm and a leg! I highly recommend this establishment for their fair pricing and honestly. When ever the work brings me back to Newport I’ll be stopping by looking for something else special!

Hello, I just wanted to take the time out of my day and say how grateful I am for golds wine and spirit. The staff is always a pleasure. Every time I come in I am assisted with all my needs and sometimes they already know what I want. I want to give a huge shout out to Michael! He is always a pleasure and he has delivered my beverages of choice when I was unable to get to the store. Thank you all I appreciate everything you’re doing and keep doing a wonderful job! If you haven’t gone there yet I’d suggest stopping in.

Really poor customer service, hung up on me several times on the phone. Picked up my call and left it unanswered. Never left a bad review but this was really disturbing customer service.

So I just left wine and spirit and I don’t normally do this but I wanted to give them a huge shout out. The customer service was amazing. When I didn’t know what I wanted I was assisted and given one hell of a wine introduction to my new favorite wine! Thank you so much.
