I was thrilled when I called this liquor store and found out they could help me and that they also had a rare rum that my friend was looking for. They absolutely went out of their way w all our requests. While feeling like a complete pain and fool w ea request, they were chill all the way thru. Particularly, Fran was on point and was able to solve a problem w out hesitation. Yes, I’m still talking about a liquor store. Great recommendations, selection, customer service, parking, and a good representation of a successful and generous business in the Somerville community. All of this took place late, before they closed, on Xmas eve, well done. I look forward to all my future liquor needs from Downtown Wine and Spirits. Take care and thank you again. Happy new year!

The cashier lady does not accept green cards as an id, and she said it's a store policy, but she did accept my partner's non-ma driver's license. I will leave it to you if you think it's just a policy, or it's discrimination. Personally, I won't go back to the store anymore. There are a lot of local place with nicer customer service in this area.

Fantastic customer service. Kuddos to Bob who was able to assist with a detailed corporate order for our team celebration. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

Pretty decent selection of most beers, wines, and liquors. Pricing is on par with most other establishments. They carry craft beers and more obscure types of beer too, as well as a nice selection of liquors. Wine section is not as throughout but very complete. Great location and hours.

Really impressive selection, particularly of beers, whiskeys, and smaller bottles in general. The staff was really friendly and helped me branch out to try some different spirits. Prices aren't the best I've seen, but they're basically comparable to any of the stores I've been to. Definitely worth a visit if you're not looking to trek out to Wegmans or Total Wine!
