Staff is very sweet & friendly but so much of the beer selection is stale. Been going here sporadically for years and often get the short end of the stick on freshness/quality. Spent $17 on a premium 4-pack of a beer I like tonight and it’s pretty undrinkable—probably my last purchase here.

Amazing selection of craft beers. There is literally something for everyone here, well worth a trip from 3 towns away to get the beer you want!

Merticulouly allocated craft beers.. very knowledgeable staff, and reasonable markups on their available allocated bourbons/whiskeys/rye/scotches

Nice selection of domestic and imported craft beers but watch the best by dates

I love Spirit Haus, my parents were loyal customers when I was growing up back when Marvin owned it, they have an extensive and interesting selection and it’s an overall great store. But the experience I (and about half a dozen other customers in the store at the time) had today was truly shocking and off-putting. One of the employees was dropping F-bombs from the time we walked in the store, it was obnoxious and not particularly professional, whatever. But as I was waiting in line I witnessed him cuss out a customer for accidentally walking away with his pen. The customer tried to laugh it off as they put the pen back on the counter but the kid wouldn’t let it go, saying “don’t laugh it’s not f’ing funny, don’t steal from me” and then turned to the customer behind them and said “this guy really just tried to f’ing steal from me”. The whole store went silent in discomfort and shock and the poor customer walked away likely mortified and I’m sure won’t be returning. Over a pen?? Unbelievable, disgusting customer service.
