I tried to return a 4-pack of specialty beers here today. I had the receipt and all 4 cans. One was empty because when my friends and I tried it, we all agreed it was off, so I poured the rest down the drain. It tasted sour - like it had gone bad. I drink a variety of porters & stouts all the time, so know the spectrum of what they taste like. You would think I was trying to return a car. The manager said I must be wrong, that since I’d never tried it before, I didn’t know what it tasted like, so couldn’t discern whether it was good or not. I suggested he try it. We’ll, he doesn’t drink alcohol & wanted the cashier to try it, who didn’t want to. Meanwhile, a line was forming of people who wanted to check out. Rather than hold them up, I decided to leave since it was clear I wouldn’t be refunded. It’s ironic - I never return things, but the friends who had tried the beer with me were adamant that I should get a refund. The manager made a really bad business decision not refunding me the $20. I typically spend at least $50 - 100 there every month, which is $600 - $1,200 over a year. Not only will I never shop there again, the four friends (so far) I’ve told about my experience have said they will never shop there again either.

Popped in before the holiday, nice parking, comparable prices and quick moving lines. Great selection, knowledgeable staff and easy in and out purchases.

Under new management since late 2021. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, it’s a totally different liquor store now. Comically high markups on a lot of their liquor ($130 for Blanton’s and $125 for Redbreast PX for example) and the owners illegally resell all of their rare whiskeys on the black market. Not a single bottle ever hits the shelf (other than Blanton’s). Maybe they are funneling them through their hotel business, I’m not sure. Either way, stay far away and don’t give them any of your business. Depot Liquors, One Stop Beverly, Kappy’s, Merchants, and Rapid Liquors are all much better local alternatives.

One of the best stores for buying spirits and beer. Many beer varieties, and good customer service. I recommend it.
