Went there yesterday 4/18/2021 on a whim, and I'm glad I did. The gentleman working there was very pleasant and super passionate about their product. Told us about each whiskey and how it's made. Whiskey tastings is 5 bucks for four samples, amazing deal, but since I bought a bottle of Old George, their rye, I wasn't charged for the tasting. If you love whiskey, definitely stop by here.

Visited the other day, the manager was super friendly and helpful. The manager had a TON of helpful insight on the products she was selling and could answer every question and then some. I picked up a bottle of single barrel bourbon and was informed that it was her personal favorite, and it has quickly became mine as well.

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had no idea about the difference between whiskey and bourbon or if i even liked it and it turns out the lady and i had very similar taste, she directed me towards the ole George that was aged in french barrels and gave me a sheet to order more from downstate when i get home. I had alot of fun and my husband is even planning a trip for us to traversecity so we can take a tour. Highly recommend this place!

While visiting the shops we stopped in to get out of the sleet as it began to come down heavy as we were walking by this particular establishment (true story)! Once inside, we had a positively wonderful and spontaneous tasting experience as we were educated on the various types of whiskey by the quite knowledgeable owner. We tried several and ended up with a bottle of Ole George rye and a fun drinking glass souvenir for dad for his Christmas gift! The spirits left our insides feeling warm and toasty, which prepared us to venture back out into the cold weather which was yet another pleasant take away in our impromptu adventure! Thank you so much! So, I am now looking online to buy for myself- what was the one distilled in a sherry cask? I cannot recall. That’s the one I would like! Thanks!
