I was visiting Marquette for an interview and decided to stop in to the distillery. It was a wonderful experience! The staff were lovey, super friendly and informative. The building is beautiful and very cool, the history was so neat and the efforts to preserve the original theater are well done. The whiskey is young and not amazing for drinking on its own but that’s okay because the gin and the drinks are amazing!! I wish I had more space in my luggage to bring home a bottle of the gin. The drinks I had were flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were working on some new drinks and shared tastes, all I can say is I wish I was staying until next week so I could order them! I will for sure be back! I also loved their commitment to sourcing local ingredients and ethical production. It is always nice to find a place that has good products and a mission you can feel good about supporting! If you visit Marquette and like cocktails this place is a must to visit.

Building architecture was good, ambiance was great. It is good to see a distillery in downtown Marquette! They have some collection of cocktails 🍸 and neat spirits. They also offer tasting samples of the Gin, Vodka, Bourbon 🥃 and Rye. We had the Bourbon and Rye neat and it was okay. The cocktail 🍸 though was refreshing, we had the seasonal punch draft.

It’s great to see a distillery finally open in downtown! THD has a fundamental and approachable menu featuring a variety of their spirits. The group I was with had the Day Off, THD Long Drink, and bourbon old fashioned…this isn’t to say the cocktails were bad, but we all regretted not just getting the spirits neat or with a rock. We took a bottle of the bourbon home. If I had any criticism, it would be that the bar space is a little flat and sterile. The room with the still in it is a bit more interesting, but the bar room could use some more character.

The vibe is cool, but I've never been a fan of going to the bar to get my own drinks. And maybe I'm just too simple, but the drinks had too many flavour profiles going on. I can't say that I know what their booze tastes like... which is odd for a distillery. I was expecting tastings and flights but instead it was a cool bar with fancy almost over the top drink combos

Stopped by Honorable Distillery on my way through Marquette and I was very impressed! The service was OUTSTANDING and the drinks were awesome! Do yourself a favor and get a flight of their different selections. The Old Fashioned was better than any one I've ever had and the ginger beer was very good! I'll definitely be visiting again!!
