Such a wonderful find! Smooth drinks, with great flavor on their own or mixed. Great service and a relaxing atmosphere.

I wanted to LOVE this place. And for the most part, I did, except for one critical detail -- I didn't find the bourbon to be that great. Don't get me wrong, I've never found a bourbon that I didn't enjoy; there may be no such thing. But, as is the case for most craft distilleries popping up and beginning to offer their goods, the flavors seemed immature. I don't mean this to seem too critical, but having to go to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs to find when Mammoth Distillery started (2013, it seems), is a shrewd way to mask the relative age in the category, covering the newness with a brilliantly designed logo and business identity. That being said, the location in Bay Harbor is a treat. The building is very well designed and decorated, and the staff on-hand were very friendly. I really like Mammoth's artwork - I can't say that enough. I think the bottle designs were beautiful. And their online presence is very, very nice. Like my first comment, I really wanted to love this place. Having been to my fair share of micro or craft distilleries, I really hope the best for Mammoth, perhaps more than any other in the category. I will plan on visiting again, and purchasing your products. I hope that, over time, Mammoth will continue to establish their brand (again, I really like it), and the business financials will support the ongoing development of their products. If you're trying to decide if you should visit or purchase some Mammoth spirits, you should.

Excellent, fun atmosphere! Love it. If you like spice try the La Picante drink! (Old Fashion in foreground, La Picante in the back)

Excellent atmosphere, our Bartender was friendly and quick to pour our cocktails. Very efficient! I'm also partial to MD as their Gin is exceptional. Although bayside property, the barfront is actually between the two hotel buildings. I thought it'd feel claustrophobic however I felt like I was on the streets of San Francisco. Highly recommend, do not leave Petoskey/Bay Harbor without stopping here (assuming if you're reading this you enjoy the alcoholic beverages)

The manager, Kassi, is a delight! She's so kind, helpful, and makes an excellent drink!
