Set up kind of odd as far as the aisles go, so literally every time it takes me a full walk around the store to remember that the liquor is near the cash registers. Cool structure and "decor" or whatever. The staff has always been friendly, assertive, patient and helpful. The location/parking situation sort of sucks because it's on that super busy corner and it's also by a bus shelter. Only 2 entrance/exit points so when it's packed it's hard to get in and out of the lot. I like it there for the most part. Booze seems much spendier there though for some reason. Maybe it is but I haven't compared prices directly yet.

Nice liquor store. Would be nice if they were open after 8 during the week. Some of us get off of work after 8, and being a neighborhood liquor store, not sure what motivated that change this year. Never had any issues but a little upset at the hours.

The selection is great, prices are good or average, and I would give the store a much higher rating if it weren't for some of the employees. Now, most of the employees are nice, don't get me wrong, but some of them are SO RUDE. And I don't mean that they are a little snarky or some small thing, I mean basic civility would be an improvement for some of these people! One girl in particular with very short hair snaps single words at you aggressively like she's either practicing for the TSA or plans to become a prison guard. Woe to you who have the audacity to be in her checkout line! The multiple interactions with some staff who are not even civil have made me decide to opt for other stores when I'm just not in the mood to go there and find out I have to deal with Miss Jr TSA. I just want to pay for my stuff and go. The cashier doesn't need to make conversation or be warm or even pleasant, but when they act like you've crossed a line and personally offended them by daring to purchase from their store, it's a serious problem.

Zipps has the best selections of beer, wine, and spirits of the liquor stores in the areas around Franklin, Lake Street and Minnehaha. Staff are always friendly and willing to help you find what's good

A family run business with some of the nicest greatest people here. Always feel welcome here . Great selection of single beers.
