I scored a bottle of one of my favorite whiskeys. I took a chance and loved it. So much, that I bought 2 more bottles before I left town. 100% recommended to stop in the oldest liquor store in Duluth. Business license ID is literally #00001.

It's small, fast, easy, affordable and friendly! I wasn't expecting much when I walked in looking for a very specific bottle of plum brandy and a local micro brew; however, I was completely blown away by how knowledgeable and friendly they were. After being told they did not have the brandy, the guy went so far as to checked at the bar next door since I'd never even tried it yet. Due to its small size, the selection is definitely limited; however, what they do have appeals to a large consensus. Even on the micro brew side of things I was able to find plenty I'd be interested in trying and walked out with a very reasonably priced pack of Bent Paddle Break Blonde. Located near the heart of downtown Duluth, their location offers a very quick and easy access when going through the city, but as others have mentioned, be sure to lock your car.

Got there at 9:30 tonight and they were closed. Even though they show that they are open til 10. Nothing like wasting $15 on an Uber to go to a store that should have been open and wasn't.

Worker watched me pull up 3 min before close and park in their parking and proceeded to lock the only door they allow entry through and the open sign was still on. Had the remaining customer leave the other door. Terrible customer service wont come back. I only needed one quick thing.
