I went into this location not expecting the best service. Boy was I wrong! Alex was absolutely wonderful he was knowledgeable about the various wines, and cognacs. He totally piqued my interest! I sent my boss lady for our company anniversary party as well... I will definitely make the longer trip for the friendly smile, and the conversation!

It’s total wine. They totally have wine all the time. It’s gonna cost you more than a dime and if you don’t step out of line, they won’t decline but actually be inclined to help you.

Not reliably open, went there during normal business hours on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and they were closed. Sounds like they were closed due to management issues

I usually don't care enough to leave reviews, but the young red-headed woman at the register made it such an unpleasant experience. She ignored me and was on her phone while I waited to check out. Then when she finally noticed I was there, she sighed loudly and rolled her eyes at me. She did not tell me my total or offer me a recipt, and she threw the items into a bag and some of them were dented. She had shoulder length frizzy red hair and a disrespectful tone. I will no longer be shopping at this store.

I just moved to the area in June. I started going to Merwin because it was closest to me. In the past few months I have have had some unfortunate experiences. I have walked into several employees on their phones, blaring distasteful music while individuals of all ages are present. Employees are eating at the registers while checking out customers. Just recently I shopped there, grabbed my beverage, walked to the counter where the employee was eating and was told after I took out my credit card that they were only accepting cash. I then walked to the atm when I inserted my card was told that didn’t work either. There was only one other person in the store and when I a asked why this information wasn’t given to me or posted when I walked in, I was told to shop elsewhere, which I will be doing from now on.
