I have known the owner for 16 years now , he is genuinely the nicest person I have had the fortune of knowing in my life ! His prices are very competitive and he keeps a good stock of just about anything you would need ! He remembers people and is always warm and kind to everyone! If you are needing some smokes ,drinks, or are looking to not break your wallet I HIGHLY recommend making barrell and bottle your go to shop !

I don't know who hurt this guy but it sure wasn't me. I walked in, grabbed a bottle and walked straight to the counter. I happily handed my id and had it ready. As I passed my licence he said " are you of age, you can never trust a woman". Then preached to me about how all women lie and made me very uncomfortable. He said things like "I know how you all are" with no shame. He started asking my fiance why he was with me and told him to just wait and see. As I begun to just shrug it off he started going off on me about politics and how I'm just like Hilary. I literally just said "hi how are you" and got lit up. After reading other reviews I decided to post this because apparently this wasn't just a bad day, this guy is just totally rude.

Pros: You can cash checks here on the weekends. I don't remember the exact rate, but it's one of the cheapest in St. Charles. He will cash large amounts of money if you go there regularly. No handwritten checks. Cons: This man is a sexist. He has made rude, berating comments to me and other women. Once I came in with a lollipop in my mouth and he asked me if I was "getting in some good practice for the real thing." Someone needs to tell him he's not in the Middle East anymore and to treat all customers with respect.

Habib(Bobby) and his son are very nice people. I give them my business because it is a family ran liquor store and I like that. Habib knows me (Brandon - AKA The Scooter guy) and Katie very well.

I've been in lots of liquor stores, in lots of places. I decided I'd try local instead of driving out to Schnucks. It's expensive, the selection is trash and the place feels dirty. If you HAVE to use it. Go through the drive thru. Otherwise just make the trek to Schnucks. 2 stars because the guy was friendly.
