We went here for a tasting. I really enjoyed their gin. I’m not really a gin man but it was tasty, crisp, well spiced and the nose revealed a pleasant juniper. The vodka was my second favorite. It too has great body, with a mellow flavor. To me most vodkas taste like rubbing alcohol. This would be great in a screwdriver or martini. Their scotch was extremely harsh. It had a thick mouth feel that was shocking. It left a film on my teeth. This was a great experience. The tasting room was small and intimate. The bartender/tasting guide was friendly and made excellent drinks. Very cool way to spend a couple hours.

We loved meeting and chatting with Allen (sp?) And his old fashioned is one of the best tasting drinks my husband has ever had. The cozy atmosphere was a perfect way to start off a date night! We loved the bear skull whiskey so much that we bought a bottle to take home to share and it's a favorite for all now!

Undammed Distillery is Billings’ newest purveyor of fine cocktails, and my own location of choice. The space is small and intimate: it’s designed for thoughtful conversations about life, but most especially spirits. The distillery is considered a tasting room - rather than a bar or brewery- and the atmosphere moves one to savor and reflect on the drink at hand (especially since the law mandates one drink per customer). The vodka is fantastic, either alone or in a cocktail. The menu has the usual suspects, with a few house specialties thrown in for good measure. Give it a shot, even if it’s just a one-off; though I’d be willing to bet you’d be back sooner rather than later.

What an amazing place to stop off and have a delicious beverage and maybe purchase some fine spirits to take home with you. The owner and head distiller Allen is an absolute pleasure. It was clearly evident that he is incredibly passionate and educated about the ways of spirits. He opened my eyes to many things I previously did not understand about American single malt whiskey. And speaking about the whiskey, I sampled the Bear Skull Creek and the Shield River Single Malt and they were so good, I had to buy a bottle of each. I also sampled the Ghost Creek vodka and it is unlike any vodka I've ever tried before, in the best possible way. It also made a killer mixed drink which my wife, who does not drink, thoroughly enjoyed. If you find yourself in Billings with some time, stop in and have a drink and some great conversation. You won't regret it!

This place was absolutely amazing! The owner was kind and took his time to explain each piece to us. 100% will come back again.
