After visiting Asbury Festhalle and Biergarten my family and I decided to stop next door and try a few cocktails at the Asbury Park Distilling Company. This is not a big place but oh so worth the stop. They do have a tasting room. The Spirits are made in-house and are really good. All their cocktails are masterly executed by friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. The flavor combinations are unique, and the names are clever. Sean and DJ do a really good job making some of the most delicious cocktails I tried their Pie-O-My Cocktail- It was made with their vodka, key lime, ( orgeat a sweet syrup) graham cracker and toasted coconut. It is a well balanced drink. My daughter ordered #67 Cocktail- Gin, Coconut, Chai, Passionfruit, and Lemon. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m not a Bourbon person I hate that burn, that being said my boyfriend is a bourbon lover. He ordered Jon Bourchon Cocktail- Bourbon, apricot, roobos, and lemon. I was shocked this tasted so good I decided to order one myself. There’s paid parking on the street and a lot a block away. This place is definitely worth a try. The cocktails change with the seasons.

My husband and I stopped in last week while visiting Asbury Park. We wanted to do something unique in terms of a craft brewery or distillery and sure enough, there you were! I had the Loggins Martini (Vodka, Pepperoncini Brine) and it was superb. The vibe inside the distillery was alive and both the inside and outside seating were packed and we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. I have no actual complaints about our experience, but I have one observation. The connection between us and the staff behind the bar was somewhat weak. They were very busy and we took note that two members of their team had called out and left them short handed. Perhaps that is why there was a disconnect, but for the most part no one behind the bar ever asked us how our cocktails were, if we wanted to order anything else, or really even made eye contact. We actually felt like we were being intrusive. No one even slightly smiled when we ordered or paid our tab. Again, our overall experience was super and we would definitely return for a visit and sampling your incredible spirits. Best Regards!

Very cool vibe with excellent sprits! Small bar with chairs and counters around the perimeter makes it easy to chill or converse with fellow patrons! A bit pricy but worth it for the quality! Although, I’m not a big fan of measured pours! That being said the Bourbon was EXCEPTIONAL!!!!

Phenomenal cocktails and spirits. The staff were great and knew the tasting notes really well to match your palate. Highly recommend doing a flight of everything straight up as it’s all very smooth. If you don’t like hard liquor as much at least do a shot of the Espresso Limoncello, because it is basically candy. The cocktail that oddly stole the show was War & Peas, I don’t like peas, but it tasted like a sweet pea and it’s one of my favorite cocktails.
