I asked for a print receipt I didn’t get one the second time they did that I Will never give them my business again They’re hiding ripping people off my feelings

Please do not shop here for bourbon and whiskey. I visited this store and purchased several bottles. First of all, the cashier was rude and extremely distant. He seemed to barely tolerate my questions. After I bought my stuff, the cashier took my receipt and threw it in the trash. I thought it was strange but I didn’t say anything. However, after considering my purchases and the level of service I was provided, I changed my mind. I walked back in the store 20 minutes later and they refused to honor my return. The cashier lied and said it was against the law to make returns. After reading NJ law, I told him that what he said was not true. After that, the cashier called the owner and the owner said he would not allow my return. Policies are established for a reason but this store does not have policies, are not transparent, and they lie. I highly recommend that you do not shop here.

Trying to charge $350 for Weller Antique 107. That's more than five times what retail should be. They won't see my business again. The store might have deleted their reply, but I'll answer what they said. I'm well versed in the bourbon market and the difficulty in acquiring certain bottles. It still does not justify you trying to charge over five times the MSRP. You tried to rip me off on one bottle, but now you'll get none of my business going forward. Does that sound profitable to you? Why would I ever give you a dime of my money again when you blatantly tried to rip me off? Beyond being a solid way to alienate customers, price gouging on allocated bottles goes directly against the wishes of Buffalo Trace, who as you know produces Weller bourbon. I've had a nice conversation with their CEO, and his advice was to report businesses that price gouge to the state attorney general as it is illegal to do for allocated product. I hope they continue to follow through with taking action against those that try to rip off their customers, as well as distributors reducing or eliminating the availability of allocated products to businesses like yours. I hope potential customers see this and take their business to more deserving stores.
