Rude staff, and they not only were caught selling counterfeit bourbon but they never even fired any of their employees for it, which means the owners were well aware of it/the ones who did it. There are plenty of other lesser known businesses that deserve your business.

"NYC wine store fined $100K for fake bourbon sales — but hasn’t fired anybody over scandal." That's the headline from the 03/01/2023 NY Post article about this business ripping off their customers. COUNTERFEIT ALCOHOL!!! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE. Your best bet is to avoid any business operating in NYC. In my early 20's i met a friend at a bar on the UES. I ordered Jack with a ginger back. Took one sip and knew instantly it wasn't Jack Daniels. The bartender said i was wrong so i said prove it and open a new bottle in front of me. He did and of course i was right. I'm from LYNCHBURG!!! Jack Daniels is in our blood. NYC is filled with cheats. Look elsewhere for anything of value.

What a great, accommodating place!! I was in a pinch & needed to get holiday gifts for work colleagues. Cliff at Acker was more than helpful in finding & suggesting a Bourbon that would make the perfect gift. The prices were fair & they were more than knowledgeable. An Upper West Side staple!

This place got caught selling fake wine and bourbon more than once. They're scammers.

Fake bourbon no repercussions. Upper west side can do better than this place.
