I honestly love J.R.'s. I try visiting at least once a week because they have a small area in the rear on the right of the establishment and they serve food there. The burritos are to die for and the prices are reasonable. Oh, I also like the trinkets that are there, I came across some rainbow shot glasses that goes perfectly with my dining room decor (I have a mini bar) The people there are nice and friendly and the beverages aren't bad either😊

An amazing selection of spirits and wine! The beers are a nice selection too. Prices are better than fair in some cases. Clean and nice location. Staff was super helpful.

Went to 5 different businesses in Raton today did not wear a mask to any of them. When I entered JR'S I was not asked to put a mask on I was yelled at by the workers in the store. I would've complied if I was asked politely but instead I am boycotting this rude business. I encourage you to do the same. I have personally found Main St. Liquor in Trinidad too be great!

I would put 10 stars to this place if I could. Not only is it basically the one and only place you can buy liquor in all of God forsaken Raton, the people there are super friendly. I was able to purchase some ice a cooler even some beer pong playing items. I mean, this is better than a truck stop almost. I've been wanting to try their grill but it's usually closed when I'm there so I've got to figure out when their hours are and give it a try.
