Well my review might be biased, but I still was an offical customer at one point so I will say this. I took my girlfriend here for a birthday wine tasting and experienced true southern hospitality. I had just spent the last two years in digital marketing sales. Once I tasted the Ava Gardner 6 year bourbon, I can literally say it changed the entire course of my life. Needless to say I'm now working with Seven Jars to share it with the rest of the world.

I jumped at the opportunity to take the distilling class that Seven Jars held last week. My wife and I own a restaurant in Fayetteville, and I run the bar. Distilling our own spirits would require legal hurdles that we aren't ready to do, but I like to know where our products come from. For someone looking to start a distillery or for those just curious like I was, the class was a blast. Scott, the owner does the classroom portion, which includes going over everything from getting started with the required permits, to labels, and yes distilling. North Carolina has a rich history of making spirits, legally and a little less legal. You get a history lesson of Seven Jars, and the impact they had in Charlotte. The hands on portion was definitely appreciated, and showed how our favorite spirits are made from start to finish. Be ready to get your hands dirty! The entire team is extremely knowledgeable, and answered any questions that I had. They all made me feel welcome from the second I walked in. Don't hesitate to sign up for the next class if you have interest in distilling spirits!

Went for a tasting. One drop will cost you a second mortgage, but a bottle will only set you back a new car. Seriously, $5 for a couple teaspoons of one bourbon? 7 for another? And the same for a wine? Why not $5 for 5? I’ve been to hundreds of tastings at distilleries, wineries, breweries, meaderies, you name it. None were that expensive! Skip the tasting.

We had a great experience learning the history and development of Sevens Jars products! The tasting and tour were fantastic and informative. Very personal unlike large distilleries that tend you conveyor belt you through. Whiskey, the distillery dog, was a delight to meet as well!

Did the wine plus whiskey tasting. Weeb and Baron were a delight to interact with through the tastings. Enjoyed Baron's discussion of history behind the distillery and the tour of production area. Weeb had great knowledge of wines which spanned a wide spectrum.
