My partner came here two days ago and asked the clerk to pick his liquor of choice out so he could try something new. After drinking a terrible shot we come to find it’s expired by a year. That is just awful business practice and trust and believe we won’t be coming back. TERRIBLE business practice—you should be ashamed. Response to owner: it said Oct 2021 on the bottle. sure you can say that alcohol does not expire and it’ll only make your stomach hurt, but for you to specifically suggest a bottle that you most likely knew, expired due to expiration date last year is bad practice in business a good business would try to solve it, not act smart about it. Once again, shame on you! Response to edited owner response: there’s no way we’re going back after you were a smart a$$, keep the money I hope people see this review and avoid your store to save them the trouble. Go to the liquor store on Stonecrest by the Harris Teeter, it’s so much better!

Amazing selection of liquors, especially higher shelf items that are usually hard to find in other stores. Barton was super helpful in finding exactly what I was looking for and very friendly. Prices are entirely reasonable and the vibes are 100%. Highly recommend. This might be the only ABC store that I go to from now on since they have good inventory and service that I can count on. Definitely beats all of the other stores I’ve been to in the CLT area.

I’m a big whiskey and bourbon collector and I understand the secondary market pricing very well. However, this guy is out to scam people who are new to bourbon and are unaware. The prices are triple msrp. This is just pure greed, but I guess the desperate or unaware is what he is after.

Best place to shop liquor and wine, especially rare Blantons and Buffalo trace
