This wine store is awesome and I’ve been in a lot of them. I’m going to keep this simple. Location is simple. They have a cigar humidor - awesome to just grab a quick tobacco fix. Wine selection is wonderful and nicely organized and clean. Prices are good. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I asked for assistance picking up a new type of wine and they asked me a few questions and they found a new brand and I enjoyed it. Cleanliness was good. They also have a good selection of beer as well just no liquor. They have glassware and other necessities for drinks if needed. Check it out and see for yourself.

Total Wine is hands down the best place for wine and beer in Durham. I like the mom and pop shops too, but Total Wine's prices, service and selection really can't be beat. They also have super friendly and helpful sales associates and cashiers.

While traveling, my brother and I decided we wanted a bottle of Merlot. We popped in 15 minutes before closing. Yet, the staff couldn't have been more helpful in helping my brother find something he wanted. BTW... the Merlot was great!
