Best liquor store we've been to in the area by far. It was recommended by a coworker who'd visited Myrtle before. They have all your top shelf whiskeys, including rare finds.

Update: 24 February 2023 I don't normally go back and change ratings.....but I felt I needed to because of what happened a couple of weeks ago. Due to the below situation, I am removing two of my stars from my previous review. My family and I were in MB and decided to run by Owens to see what they had in stock. I really liked the store the last time and they took care of me before.....see below. As I'm walking through I see an Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel and I knew that I have wanted one for a little while. Shame on me for not checking what the MSRP should have been. So I purchase the bottle at close to $100. The man behind the counter was really nice and stated that it was priced at a "little" over MSRP and once again....shame on me for not asking. I complete the transaction and head home. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I walk into my local ABC store and see the same bottle sitting on the shelf for $55. Can someone please explain to me how $45 is a "little" over MSRP? Although I really liked Owen's the couple of times I've been in there.....I won't be returning. Research the bottles that you buy here and make sure you know their correct MSRP. Original post: Called Owens after finding a Boundary Oak 82d Airborne bottle on their website. Called and asked if they could hold it for a day for me as I had to drive from Fayetteville, NC. They agreed to hold it and I’m so thankful. Great selection, some of the prices seemed a little high and others were spot on. Bought the 82d Airborne bourbon and a bottle of Italian Moscato for my wife and daughter. Will come back again in the future.

Huge variety of drinks and the staff have generally been very helpful. Convenient location as well

Friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Then there's the allocated bourbons... absolutely insane pricing. They're much higher than even "secondary" pricing. Ridiculous. Much better options in MB.
