Sat the 3rd. Stopped at the North location by Menards. Had to find someone to help us and when he did was not very friendly. Then he checked us out and again not friendly. Had to be multitasking while checking us out. What has happened to customer service???

My wife and I recently moved to Bismarck from Wisconsin. We were excited that this liquor store was less than one mile from our house, given that we very much enjoy our beer. I have never left a customer review, but felt compelled to after our experience: We were the only customers in the store mid-day before I started my new job. At checkout, my 7-month pregnant wife and 3.5 year-old daughter were (rudely) asked to leave the store due to a "no child" policy that was not explicitly posted. This was after we had passed 5 or 6 employees in the store, none of which commented on this policy. Safe to say we will be going out of our way to other establishments going forward and would not recommend to others. When I spoke with the manager he was indifferent, which I understand given the number of other locations in the area. P.S. If you like IPAs, craft beers, etc., the selection sucks. P.P.S. To the unnamed owner--I appreciate the quick, albeit "cookie cutter" response. You obviously did not read my initial review, as I said I would be recommending nor attending your establishment again. You do not need to "look forward to serving me again soon." Good luck running your business by pushing away customers with disposable income during an inflationary period. Thanks, Cody. If you have a serious response, feel free to send it.

They decided to close early on a Sunday for no reason like I get it it's Sunday but when you can't get booze anywhere else because of whatever north Dakota's fine reason it is you can do the people the common courtesy of staying open Intel your hours of operation say

The staff were very helpful in making our selections. And suggested alternative substitutes to help fit our budget.
