It’s always a pleasure to be able to get into the library. The food is decent, though the fries are not my favorite. The space is expansive and spectacular. Usually drinks are prepared table side, though this past visit my first showed up while the rest of the table were able to view the creation of theirs. We’ve had snooty service a few times, but overall the expertise and environment are great. I would consider Teardrop Lounge my favorite craft bar in the city if not the world, but the library is always a treat to spend time at.

Very cool whiskey bar in the Portland area! Amazing collection of whiskeys! The cocktails are prepared and served while you're at your table, they are delicious!!! The food (dinner portions) is equally delicious and pairs well with the drinks! The bar seats are reserved for members only, which I think is cool! Make reservations prior to your visit! (As of this post they still require proof of vaccination). The folks that work here are very friendly and helpful! If you're not sure what to order, they can point you on the right direction! If you're a whiskey aficionado, this place is a must! It's definitely worth a look for all! If you find yourself in the area, check it out!!!

As you go up the stairs and through the door you are immersed in wood and brick lined walls and a wall of whiskey that spans from chest to ceiling and just seems to go on forever. Upon sitting at the bar the VERY knowledgeable staff go over their many books of food cocktails and.... Then you see it, the inch thick book that must give them their namesake, the whiskey list. This place is a complete paradise for whiskey lovers, fine cocktail drinkers and everyone in-between. Get suggestions when you can and if you're looking for that extra special bottle you'll most likely find it here. Wonderful place, I will definitely have to visit again.

This is a must-visit for anyone even with an inkling toward whiskeys. I'm an avid scotch whiskey fan, and I have a good set of friends who visit Portland who are bourbon fans. This gives us a great medium to try all kinds of rare whiskeys we all love. I even went with my wife who doesn't normally drink whiskeys, and the server was able to suggest a few drinks that she loved. I can't say enough good things about this place. The bartenders and wait staff are supremely knowledgeable, the limited food menu is amazing, the selection is one-of-a-kind, and the atmosphere is perfect. The only caveat I'd add is that drinking nice whiskeys anywhere outside of your home is very pricey, and this place is no exception -- especially for the rare ones, so heads up.

Amazing cocktail bar in Portland. Stopped by for cocktails only and this place did not disppoint. Be prepared to wait for long single The Green Room is a first come first serve cocktail bar with few seats. Large groups - good luck. We were just 3 of us and got a table after almost 30mins of wait. We wasted no time and ordered the Blue Ribbon and Victory Lap. Both the drinks were outstanding and we enjoyed it. We really wanted to stay for long and order a few more rounds but had to head back to seattle. But we also tried their dark chocolate whiskey cake and that was mind blowing. Mild whiskey flavor perfectly balanced with semi sweet chocolate and with caramelized hazelnut crumbs. Staff is great. Cocktails are outstanding. Boozy cake was delicious. Drinks reasonably priced at The Green Room and worth every penny. All in all loved this place and cant wait to visit soon. Cheers.
