Extremely welcoming staff with plenty of space for sitting and enjoying a drink. I specifically want to call out Riley for being an all around swell guy. Told us the ins and outs of our whiskey flights, came back with treats for my dogs, and engaged in excellent conversation throughout our time there. I’m uncultured and most whiskey tastes the same to me, but the experience is what makes the difference for me. Thanks Riley and team for being the best in the northwest.

Great tour and tasting experience! We were warmly greeted and enjoyed a miniature Old Fashioned while we waited for the distillery tour to begin. Colleen did a wonderful job showcasing the unique experience that Westward Whiskey strives to provide by taking the time to produce a high quality product. After the tour (and many laughs), we made our way back to the tasting room for a flight with a light snack plate to enjoy alongside the four sips. We look forward to trying one of their cocktail classes in the future and enjoying flights in the future.

We've been club members for a while now. When we first signed up we didn't know the treat we were in for, every bottle we've had is wonderful. My personal, absolute favourite is the sourdough whiskey, it is utter magic. I got the last bottle they had, and I'm hoarding it like a miser. These whiskeys are worth every penny.

Very classy "whiskey neat flight" (if I remember correctly tour of their distillery). The bartender was very knowledgeable, easily answered any questions we had, and was both personable and easy to converse with. The whiskey was AMAZING and the prices were reasonable considering the quality , though not cheap. Our tour was assisted by the production manager who was both friendly and informative on the whiskey making process and the various types of whiskeys they make and have made. Absolutely recommend a tour, it's well worth the time and/money.

This place has definitely earned its place on the map for a good spot for a drink in Portland but also a fantastic distillery. We got our hands on one of the promotional cards for a free tour and tasting - we didn't expect it would cover both of us which was a pleasant surprise. But even if we had paid for both the tour and tasting, we would have only been out $30 each, and that definitely would have been worth it. I didn't expect so much to come with it. Before the tour we got a mini cocktail to sip on while we waited for the tour. It featured one of their whiskies and were quite yummy. In the tour we got to taste through the process which was really fun, from barley to beer to the white dog. After the tour came the tasting, which I guessed to be about two full drams worth, until our guide brought us two bonus tastings, in which we'd gotten to try all their current whiskies. We got water without having to ask and to cleanse the palette between tastings we got a small tray of s'more treats. All included with our tour. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and didn't feel rushed to finish up. Our tour guide was wonderful, but I am ashamed to say I don't remember her name! Short curly hair on the 1pm tour today. My only complaint would be that parking was a B on a Friday afternoon, so arrive early to drive around for a spot. This place has really thought of it all, and you can see the care that went into the design of the space, the partnership with other local businesses, and obviously, the delicious whiskey!
