I recently visited West Salem Liquor Depot and was thoroughly impressed by the selection of products and the friendly staff. The store was well-organized and easy to navigate, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. The staff at West Salem Liquor Depot were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They were able to make recommendations based on my preferences and were patient with my questions. In addition to the great selection and friendly staff, the prices at West Salem Liquor Depot were very competitive. I was able to find some amazing deals on high-quality products. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at West Salem Liquor Depot and will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the area looking for a wide selection of liquor.

Even though this is the closest liquor store to me, I don’t enjoy the experience. The employees don’t have any customer service training, they act like you’re an inconvenience for them. At the front two employees were complaining today while I stood there with my hands full. Never looked, never said anything, lack of awareness or even caring at all. The store is also overflowing with cardboard boxes and there is barely anywhere to walk if at all busy. It is not necessary to have 1,000 bottles of liquor in the middle of the floor taking up all the useable space. Overall selection is limited and store feels small. In Oregon pricing is all the same so a store has to differentiate based on other factors. Right now I’d rather buy elsewhere.

Selection and price were fine. Two of the gentleman behind the counter were having a conversation loudly about guns. They were cursing and talking about violence and and “popping caps” in people. Not only was it very tacky, but the last thing we should be perpetuating given the world we live in now. Gun owners have a bad reputation for a reason and a little tact goes a long way. What ever happened to discretion and professionalism? Super trashy. I won’t be back.

Worst place I've ever worked, one of the owners requires you show up hours before your shift is scheduled and work for free before the location opens or She retaliates and threatens your job. Not a nice place to work or even visit once you realize how little the owners care about the people that work for them.

I have shopped there for quite some time. In general I like the staff. A little disappointed with them being frequently out of a favorite we buy, but might be out of their control. Recently I had asked for a receipt for the purpose of getting a rebate. They put a non itemized receipt in my bag. When I got home and realized they gave me a receipt I could not use. I called and asked them if they could print me the correct one and put my name on it. I would be down in a couple of hours. When I arrived no one knew anything about. I was finally able to get one, but with great difficulty. While I was there I informed them of a bottle I purchased a week before. After getting home my fiancée said did you notice the bottle. It had a big crack in it and was leaking in the bag. I informed them of this and they took my phone number and said a manager would call me. After several days, not a word. Communication between the staff seems to be a big problem. Update 8/25/22: The owner, months after my review, wanted to know what they could do to resolve this. I responded that a replacement or a credit would be fine. They replied, they could fix the receipt issue (obviously did not fully read my original review) and wanted to know if I could return the broken bottle and what it would take to resolve this issue. I responded, I was not going to keep a broken bottle around for a half of year waiting for them to contact me and asked if they had read my previous email when I answered their question the first time? It’s now been 1-1/2 weeks and don’t expect to hear back. How they can be a distributor for the OLCC to local bars and walk-in customers is beyond me.
