I went there pretty often but not anymore. They do not have a very good bourbon selection and the workers there seem to mock you when you ask about harder to find bourbon. One of them said to me: "We wouldn't give it to you even if we had it, we give all our stuff to bars" in an extremely condescending tone. Talking to friends, this is not an isolated incident. Not sure why they are all so full of themselves, but I am taking my biz somewhere else. I get that bourbon is hot right now, but talking down to clients who are politely asking is not ok. It seems like I am not the only one unhappy with them.

The staff was very informed and helpful. I was buying liquor as a gift for a house warming. I was unfamiliar with type of alcohol as well as the brands. They took time, even though they were close to closing, and helped me find the perfect gift. Needless to say the gift was a hit and my friends were impressed with the selection. I will be choosing this place the next time I need to impress. Thanks for the help!

Really enjoying having this new liquor store closer to my work. Nice layout, clean look for the new Pearl neighborhood (slabtown) store. Still having trouble with inventory at stores actually reflected in Oregon liquor search, but call first if its a hard to find bottle.

Proof is a must stop for your drinking needs. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Their selection is top notch and can always find something that you may not know about it. If there is something you are looking for make sure to ask, never know they might be able to get it in on their next delivery. Always nice to have a neighborhood liquor store that is kept up nice and well stocked!

Proof Wine and Spirits have been amazing to deal with! Their staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. Their space has been thoughtfully designed too and offers a great atmosphere! Glad to have a good neighborhood liquor store close by.
