An overall nice store with a good selection. Service is hit or miss. I have been buying a lot of the Chairman’s Selection wines, which are usually a good value. I recently bought a bottle there and it was bad (dry cork, oxidized wine). I wasn’t allowed to return or get a refund without a receipt which is a huge bummer. Not many people hang onto receipts for booze considering they don’t expect to be sold a bad bottle. Many stores these days are also able to look up receipts from the credit card number but here they aren’t. Thankfully the wine wasn’t expensive. If you buy a $100 bottle of wine that’s gone bad, and you don’t have the receipt, I guess you’re SOL. Just be careful when purchasing here.

What can I say about a spirit store operated by state regulations? it was clean and full. The male attendant at the register was extremely friendly as we engaged in a conversation about PA changing the name to Fine Wine & Good Spirit. I mentioned to him they were called State Stores when I last lived in PA thirty-six years ago. Fine Wine and Good Spirits....I'll be back again and again for the 'spirit lift'...

Had some of the best customer service of my life yesterday at this location. A young guy named Bill was insanely knowledgeable and extremely patient with me and all of my questions about bourbon.

If you want hard alcohol in PA you will have to visit one of the state run stores. The good is that you will never pay a premium, the bad is that selection is limited.
