I shouldn't help any of you find my favorite whiskeys but it was cool to see some high end stuff here. It seemed like a little shop lost in a dying strip mall...and it is but the selection made it easy to overlook that.

Friendly staff , nice selection, well stocked, could have a wider variety

I never complain or give bad reviews, but today has made me so upset. I went to this store today for the first time in a very long time just to pick up a bottle of champagne for a friend and I, and whenever I went to pay for the bottle, the cashier asked for my ID. Of course I was ready to give her my ID so I showed her the card, and she said that my ID doesn’t look like me. I responded with yes, I know it doesn’t look like me. That was from years ago when my hair was very short and a different color, the new Real IDs don’t change your photo. So I showed her my other ID (which was short hair too but a different color) and she said it still doesn’t look like me but she went with it. I ended up having issues with my bank card and was short $2, so I asked if I could use a credit card for the remaining balance and she responded with “you can if it’s yours.” That immediately offended me because to me that means she was implying I was just bringing in someone’s IDs in that weren’t mine. She even checked my name on the credit card before I used it. Turns out, my card was expired because I forgot to switch my expired credit card with my new one I received recently, so I asked that she just cancel the transaction, but a nice man paid the difference for me before I left. I’m not upset about being short on the money, but how I was treated, like I was lying about who I am. Ive decided I won’t be returning to this store.

Bethany always helps and has sound knowledge on the products. Don't know what to do. Ask for her

It's the state store... they have liquor, wine, champagne. Ya know... alcohol. I prefer the one in Lawrence Village Plaza. They have a smaller selection/ variety than the other two. However, my preference is simply because of employee morale at that location. They are more eager and willing to help or even just spark up a conversation.
