Great wine selection! It was worth the 45 minute drive from where we live. The associates were very helpful in assisting us with everything we needed to find.

I am generally a beer shopper here and love their selection of local, domestic, and foreign craft beers. Obviously, they also have a great wine selection. In Virginia, they do not carry spirits or any other higher octane beverages.

I am a door dasher and received an order for total wine and more (10/12/22) at around 4pm. As I went in I was unable to find the items. I proceeded to ask the employee (John) for help in locating them. Instead of immediately helping me he proceeded to rudely tell me the app told me where the items were. When I explained I was still having trouble finding them and if he could please show me he proceeded to, but in the rudest way possible. When we finally made it to the item I was looking for he slapped the box to indicate that it was the one I was looking for. I proceeded to say “I’m sorry, but it’s your job to help me” he yelled “no it wasn’t”. I proceeded to say that I was a customer, but he argued saying that I was just a door dasher (contractor) and it wasn’t his job at all to help me find anything. When I tried to further explain that I am shopping for a customer in turn making me a customer because I am purchasing the products he disregarded me. I asked if he was the manager and he responded with “no thank god”. He was very hostile and the entire interaction was uncomfortable. During this whole interaction I was on the phone with another door dash employee who heard the entire interaction transpire. I proceeded to look for the other items listed without any help. Until a woman stocking the shelves (who didn’t work there) told me she stocks the shelves all the time and would help me since he wouldn’t. When I went to checkout I asked the employee who I just had the interaction with for his name. A manager helped ring my items out where I further explained what just happened. The employee I encountered (John) was explosive and I left badly shaken after the encounter. I please ask for this to be further looked into and the cameras to be reviewed. I have never had an issue like this with finding items in any other store.

Yeah, okay, 5 stars here since I've never said anything bad about this location, even under my breath ;) Staff is very helpful, even cashiers are happy. I love the cigar selection and prices are decent. Tons of wines and beers, of course...and lots, I mean lots of locally crafter beverages. Solid shop.
