Von's is a restaurant/bar that's known for having an enormous amount of spirits (hence the name) and sourdough pasta and bread. They're located right next to Harbor Steps and the S.A.M. so pretty easy to get to, although parking is practically impossible here. Lunch and mid afternoon seating is usually easy to get since they have dozens of tables and bar seating, but you may want to make reservations for large groups or dinner time. They have a decent sized menu, and their prices aren't insanely high like most downtown establishments. Portion sizes are pretty good as well, lots of things to fill you up on the menu. Their sourdough pasta is great, along with their meatballs. Pizza is an easy go to as well as their burgers. Pretty strong pours when you order drinks too. Overall the staff is friendly and quick, so don't hesitate to ask them for a recommendation.

I fell in love with this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We sat at the bar and had the mixologist craft us some wonderful drinks. They were phenomenal to say the least. The food was great. They make their pasta on site. The dishes we had were great. Its priced right and all. We will definitely be back when we are on that side of the country. Highly Recommended!!!

We were on a week long business trip in Seattle and this was the best food/drinks/experience we had!! We were able to sit at the bar right away and got fast service. The drinks were creative and delicious. Our food came out at lightening speed. The bartender was very friendly and had great suggestions of places to visit. Other locals in the bar were also very friendly. A very welcoming, tasty, fun environment. If I am ever back in Seattle this will be where I head!

The pictures of the bar were enough to peak my interest in making this the first restaurant stop during our trip - but I would return for the food. Any day. The sourdough pasta is delicious, and the Bramble (a blackberry, lemon, and gin cocktail) might be one of the best drinks I’ve had this year. Smooth and tasty, yet not overwhelming. I highly recommend Von’s - not only for its menu, but for its atmosphere and wait staff. All three were incredible. Perfect place to go for our first night out on the town!

The best sourdough pizza and pasta I've had in a long time. I was visiting a family member on First Avenue, and because the area was full and there was no online ordering available at the time, I chose to order at the front desk and take it home ( 2 minutes away). It was delicious. I am a vegetarian, and there were just around four options available to me ( including vegan ones). I tried three of them, and they were all fantastic. The portion sizes were generous for someone visiting from abroad, where a pizzahut or domino's big pizza is half the size.
