One of the gems in Seattle, definitely worth a visit. I went alone, but they took care of me so well. The bartender has been working in the last 14 years, he made me a drink that wasn't in the menu. Definitely had lots of fun and will come back!

I visited Seattle for the first time on a girls trip back in July and was super excited to try this place which was highly recommended by a friend. However, it is almost comical how terrible our experience was. While we didn’t have to wait to get in, we were basically ignored the entire time. We were told we could sit downstairs which, to be fair, is a very cool atmosphere. We were seated for a good 15 mins or so before we were ever acknowledged by our waitress and ordered our first round of drinks. Some of us were not happy with our drinks, I personally didn’t find them to be anything special and they were overpriced. After getting our drinks it took, no joke, probably 1/2 and hour to an hour before we even saw our waitress again. Eventually, we got so bored that we started playing games to entertain ourselves. When the waitress finally did arrive again there was no apology for being ignored, no asking how we enjoyed our drinks, nothing. At that point we were not willing to waste any more time or money there so we went somewhere else to finish our evening. I will not come back here or recommend it to others. There are plenty of other cocktail bars that offer the speakeasy atmosphere but with delicious cocktails and quality customer service.

Cool spot! Entrance is off the alley. We went on a Thursday night and they were busy, but we received great speedy service! All of the drinks were fun and well made! Their cocktails are all well made with a lot of attention to detail! They use nice gins in their drinks but can make pretty much anything! In the photo is the “to the moon” drink! It was light refreshing and if you like rose and hibiscus, you’ll love it! Seating was cozy and intimate but still a good time!

A bit quite hard to find, you need to walk back (south) two lanes to find the real entrance when you find the gold plate 😂 Although it is called bathtub gin, it actually has a lot of menu other than gin. For jewel & gig, the bourbon flavor or the tea fragrance is not too highlighted. It’s a little watery in my opinion, but might be a better choice for people who want smooth and easy drinks. Diamond hands is a great drink, the overall feeling is smooth and fruity. It is still more of a drink I would recommend for light drink lovers. The vibe is good here, but the service is OK and you might need some time to order another cup or get any refill on water if you get a seat downstairs 😅 Give it a try if you like speakeasy and maybe try their gins.

I love speakeasies and actively sought Bathtub and Gin out because of a failed encounter in NYC. This location is in the back alley of a residential building in Belltown - very inconspicuous; the only thing that will give it away is probably the line forming outside the door. We waited 30 min on a Friday evening, and already had people lining up behind us. We were initially seated on the couch in their lower floor, but asked to be seated elsewhere and our server very kindly obliged. We really enjoyed the ambience. We had the Fuzz Blossom and an old fashioned -both drinks were well made and strong (!) Service was friendly and fast.
