If you enjoy going on a treasure hunt to find your beer, then this is your place. Unconventional organization, but the guy who I am assuming is the owner was a real cool dude. I'd deal with the lack of organized shelves to patron a business where the customer service is kind and friendly

I love my local shops and this one is a throwback. The owner is humorous, works hard and is always friendly. I plan for an extra 10-15 minutes to chat...about everything under the sun. Beer selection is very diverse for the size. I like the fact that almost everything has a cold option. They have quite a few seasonals for such a small shop.

Allouez liquor is in a great location in a newer building with good space. This place could be so great, however it’s a jumbled mess. Boxes upon boxes stacked in front of shelves. It’s very hard to find anything. There is too much inventory of bad/expired product. We bought two bottles of wine and they were both turned and undrinkable. It’s also very overpriced. It’s a shame, because the store has potential to be great! Owner is friendly, but that’s the only redeeming quality.

As a Canadian, places like this are almost surreal. It's a depot of alcohol, a stockpile--a resource. There was an impossible wall of beer to choose from--stacks with dust on them. A true enthusiast's paradise. The owner was amiable and helpful. I departed with Dragon Beer.

This is my "go to" liquor store. I have been stopping in regularly for 35 years. When I stop, I typically end up talking to the owners for 30 minutes. When Ed is there, he will carry your purchase to your car. They really take care of their regular customers and will hold hard-to-get items for them. If you are not a regular customer and want to purchase a hard-to-get item, he will probably short with you and not sell it to you. They have a large inventory in a small store. You can spend a lot of time looking for something. If you are in a rush, just ask Ed. He knows where everything is and can lead you right to it.
