Very friendly and helpful staff paired with a good selection of beer, liquor, and wine. They do carry domestics as well if you’re looking for a stop much quicker than say, woodman’s. Plenty of parking available and the inside is orderly and clean - easy to find what you’re after.

I have shopped at this store numerous times. Usually the in evening. Today, in the morning, I went to park to visit another small , local business next door, Beans and Cream. The parking the lot was full and the drive thru was longer then what I had time for. Due the pile of snow from snow plowing removal a parking space was not usable. Since it was a quick trip I thought I could park in the nearest spot to beans and cream that was allocated to the liquor store, as other spots as other spots for this liquor store were still available for other customers. And because it’s was 1030 in the morning, not a huge rush to the liquor store. Before I even made it to the sidewalk, the liquor store employee opens and the door and yells to me, “in 2 mins you will have a $30 ticket and $300 towing fee for parking there.” I found this interaction extremely rude. I responded in a calm manner, “but the parking lot was full”, and he responded “does not matter.” I find this customer service interaction not ideal. I could have been grabing coffee next door and then running in to grab alcohol, but the fact he made an assumption before asking me why I parked there. I returned to my car and left. Unfortunately this employee caused both local Sun Prairie businesses to lose a customer today. I will not be shopping at this liquor store again, as this interaction shows they do not care about customer service, nor supporting other (their neighbors for goodness sakes) small local businesses. These are two values I believe in supporting - local small business owners and business that value customers. If the liquor store can make up for this poor interaction, I may consider shopping here again, but from reading other past reviews (many from 1+ year ago) this has not changed.

My first visit to the store was great; some products are reasonable and others are overpriced. Not that great of selection but overall clean and a nice looking store! After visiting the first time I decided to go back again. The second experience was awful. I entered the store and was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. After browsing the aisles I asked the cashier a question about product selection. She was able to give a quick response. The bad experience was when I was trying to check out. The blond woman running the cash register asked if I had my ID and I said no but I could go run and get it. That was when she became very rude and upset. She told me I couldn’t even be in the store and if a cop was here that she would be in big trouble. She didn’t ask for an ID upon entering but it was an issue when checking out. So if being in the store without an ID was a huge issue; she should have been asking at the door. Regardless I told her I had no issue running to grab my ID but she did not seem content with that response and continued to be agitation and state that I shouldn’t be here. After my second visit with this rude woman I will not be returning.
