The new owner is really a great guy and and always gives a friendly welcome. Paul and sons is a whole new store compared to trumps. Ken is a great guy and always has deals going on. The raffle is a cool aspect as well. I really love going in there, sometimes I don’t even need beer but will stop in anyway just for a friendly conversation. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Has the nerve to call people that he “put something aside” for them special, then attempts to charge well over secondary prices for allocated bourbon AND claims he’s charging that because of the distributor. That is COMPLETELY false. Distributor prices are NOT driving secondary prices of allocated bourbon. Lying liquor store owners attempting to take advantage of customers are, and make no mistake, this is the NEW owners. Take your bourbon, and in fact all, your business elsewhere. Edit after owners response: once again, a lie from a liquor store owner. I wasn’t trying to get them to sell something “below his cost”. They just didn’t like the fact that the customer they were dealing with knows what the cost of these bourbons are from the distributor. Jacking up the price after that and claiming it’s because of your “costs” of doing business is a complete fabrication. Here’s the facts , they wanted to charge $219 for an EH Taylor Single Barrel and $120 for an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. Readers can make their own decision on who’s “lying” in this review.

Some prices are really wonky so I pulled my phone out to look up the actual MSRP of a bottle of Japanese Whisky listed for $169.99. I've bought bottles at this price point before from this store, from this employee.. but apparently he doesn't remember and told me that "Phones are not allowed in the store." The MSRP for that bottle is $79.99 so I guess I'm not disappointed to not be coming back.
