Though not as large as the Emporium, Badger Liquor still retains its position as the go-to scnoido-stop in all of Wisconsin. I was greeted by a slurry "suhh" from a Jeremiah Weed T-shirt wearing employee. He was knowledgeable enough to get me out the door and on my way until next time, when I'll inevitably crave the same-old, and the cycle begins anew. Badger Liquor will either have what you need or, if not. Riley's Wines of the World surely does. Simply head another block down Gorham and you'll find it easily. Be sure to ask about the Swisher Sweets, and where Jenen is. At Badger Liquor, you're number one.

This guy TJ is making his own prices. Over charge me then got all nervous when I caught him up. Sad. Offered to pay me cash back but I requested a refund instead.

This is the kinda liquor store I love. Small and to the point with a knowledgable staff. I came in today and the lone employee looked absolutely and totally hungover. I asked him what he recommended and he walked over and mumbled a bit and pointed to a bottle of tequila. He had a "I partied wayyy too hard last night and don't want to be here" attitude, which was amazing because it was 4 pm. He was rambling quite a bit but the only thing I could coherently understand was "Can I see your id?". The rest of his dialogue was to be decoded by his body language and context. He was a seasoned liquor pro with a nice beard. I will be back.
