I enjoy going to the LCBO from time to time as it is on a route i often take through Hawkesbury. Basically it's the provincially run liquor stores in the province of Ontario, the equivalent to the SAQ in Québec. They have a wide selection of wine, liquor and some beer available. There are many different products available compared to what is available in Quebec though many of the same ones also, so basically it's fun to try and find new products. A good selection of Ontario wines are available and many are definitely worth trying (especially the whites and rosés, not a fan of the reds though there are probably some good ones...) Also some more obscure eastern European wines (eg like from Bulgaria) that are worth exploring fun to try and definitely amazing values price to quality. Also have a cellar section for premium products. Pricing is sometimes less sometimes more sometimes equal compared to SAQ. From my experience I generally find new world wines are more affordable and old world ones more expensive. They built a new store in Hawkesbury a few years ago so it's big and modern and has plenty of parking and is readily wheelchair accessible. They also have 2 electric car charging spaces.

This is my favourite LCBO location. It’s well stocked, clean and friendly. Why I like this store? Well it’s got a white variety of spirits, beers and ciders. You will find pretty much anything you are looking for here. It’s centrally located right of the highway and it is surrounded by many stores and restaurants. This location is very LGBTQ friendly

Our LCBO in Hawkesbury is clean, good options on wine, harder liquor, beer, ciders and coolers. Always quick when paying and service also has been great. Would recommend.

Four cash lines open with no one is waiting in line to pay. Only 1 lone person manning the desk at the same day pickup line, with 8 people waiting single file to pick up their pre paid order. I don’t think the same day pick up service is supposed to cost you more time as compared to doing the isles yourself, but this seems to always be the experience at this location.
