I was returning 24 empty cans at the beer store today in Kingsville. I was met at the door by a young girl that said sorry sir we can't take those today our Bins are full. You will have to take them to Harrow or Leamington. Unbelievable!!!

Friday June 12. 2020 my husband went into the Kingsville store at 2:00 p.m. to make a purchase. He picked up his one (15 bottle) case of empties and proceeded to enter the store. Upon leaving the accessible parking spot with his empties in hand he noticed on the door a posting stating that empties can be returned only on Mon. and Wed. As soon as the door opened he was greeted by a young man from behind the counter YELLING in a loud voice that "Empties are not to be returned today!". My husband stated that he noticed the sign as he entered but thought that rather than return to the car he could carry them back out with him when he made his purchase. He then requested a case of Rickard's White only to be told again in a loud voice that they didn't carry that brand at that store. My husband said "No problem", he would just take the same as what he had. Again in a loud voice he was told that he would need to take the 24 bottle size since only that smallest size was available in that brand. Again, no problem. By having now been yelled at THREE times my husband was so upset that he informed the young salesperson that he would have thought that he should have been greeted with a "Hello" and "How are you" rather than his loud and rude verbally assaulting behaviour. The only other customer in the store, a young lady agreed with my husband and stated that she agreed that the salesperson's behaviour was very inappropriate. I am very sorry to see this type of customer service in our local establishment. Being a long time resident of the area it saddens me to see that this is how customers are being treated. I am not sure if this is because I have white hair and am assumed to be hard of hearing, which by the way, I am not, or whether this young man should not be dealing wit the public and perhaps would be better suited to "rinsing out bottles in the back room". I certainly hope that customer service will improve in the future for all Beer Store patrons in Kingsville.

My young daughter returned beer bottles/cans and when approached the counter with me we were not greeted by the staff in any way. There were no bins out for customers to place their used containers. I asked the staff member for a bin to help count and separate the cans and bottles, i was ignored. The older lady with purple in her hair had a scowl on her face the entire time she was separating the containers. She stated next time to count all cans before coming in and to put them into a bag on their own. I told her that normally we separate when we get there on our own. She then punched in random numbers and did not bother to even count how many cans my daughter had between 2 industrial sized garbage bags. She handed my daughter less then 15 dollars thinking that was sufficient when the bottles alone totalled 5 dollars. The only reason i am giving a 3 star rating is because the manager took care of my complaint in a professional fashion. Hopefully the rude worker will be handled properly and not be working dealing with customers.

Not open on time, holding me up on my busy day. Wall menu has been replaced by a tablet that doesn't show all the prices at once for comparison. Zehrs has better selection and service. The beer store is becoming an anachronism, if it is not already.
