The Cork & Bottle is a quirky little place with real character. Located on Cranbourn Street just off Leicester Square you enter and immediately go down the twisty stairs. The layout is an eclectic mix of rooms and tiny alcoves that I believe used to be prison cells. A selections of wines and cheeses to choose from you can relax in the cosy atmosphere and chat to friends at your leisure. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Thank you to my new friend Maggie that I met in London, for telling me about this great little wine bar. Located in Leicester Square, walk downstairs to this landmark featuring over 300 wines, a nice selection of cheese and an eclectic menu. Perfect place to chill with a glass of wine. Service was great, Ben took good care of us.

Really cosy place with delicious wine, and the ham and cheese pie is insane (in a good way). They initially placed us at a table that was so close to two other tables we were basically sharing, which was a bit weird. But we asked to move and they quickly sat us somewhere else.

Stopped for a cheese board and wine. Ordered a carafe from the special board and did not disappoint. Great wine. Lots of seating. Be aware of spiral stairs to reach the restaurant. We were sat in a domed alcove which was very unique. Would 100% recommend.
