The staff hiring policy for this store must be for an aptitude in bitterness or a diploma in rudeness. My experience (across multiple occasions) with the majority of the staff at the King St. Beer Store has been rudeness, abrasiveness and arrogance. Returning recyclables is an exercise in war. The two blonde women are especially toxic. Both hold a disdain for customers and will provide a litany of excuses and verbal diarrhea for why they cannot do what they are paid to do. Enter the store at your own peril.

I was in there yesterday and 3 blondes didn't serve me until one of them was brought out the back to look at me and saying it wasn't him I asked what that was about and the oldest one started yelling at me saying it wasn't any of my business then I said but it does involve me which she then stated I was drunk and she wouldn't serve me if I asked more questions they are more interested in socializing then customer service this was the worst experience at a beer store I have ever had.

Beer wasn’t cold but was a decent price. Staff was pretty quick with getting a checkout. It’s kind of an express store so there isn’t a whole lot to choose from.

Constant inventory problems, long line ups and under trained staff. Was my go to beer store for 20 years... now, it's my least favourite option.
