For those who are new to visiting Ontario you should be aware that all beer and alcohol sales is controlled by Ontario provincial government's Beer and LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) and their outlet stores. These stores have strict guidelines that require government issued photo identification cards to prove you are over 19 years of age and are not drunk before you can buy alcohol. Now rules have slightly changed where wine and beer can also be sold at limited grocery stores, micro breweries and designated wine stores. With covid-19, rules have further relaxed and other provincially approved privately operated stores now can sell beer as well. However, Beer stores remain very popular because of their large selection of both domestic and international beers in both cans and bottles. I like going to this beer store because it is located in a convenient location (1860 Bank street), it is clean and I love hearing the rattle of beer bottles running down the metal roll conveyor when I purchase a 24 (Pronounced two four in Ontario) case of beer and when returning empty bottles and cans of beer/ wine and spirits for recycling. If you like my reviews, photos or videos I would appreciate it if you could give them a thumbs up. Also please do not drink and drive.

I do weekly returns here on behalf of a rescue and the staff have always been very kind and helpful! Covid protocols are in place and staff ensure they are adhered to. There is plenty of parking and never had any issues with getting a cart or bin. I go on the off hours so if I have to wait in line, it's usually only one person ahead of me.

Fast and friendly service....want to know about specials I visit Beerstore.ca before I go. Saw a customer in line not wearing a mask and when I asked cashier about it was told that the man is a regular and has a mask exemption due to health reasons. Staff monitor number of people in store and note on door says 5 at a time but not everyone can read or count before entering. Staff do there best.

Beer Store employee on the bottle returns side is quite rude. On the last two visits and this one he is very curt with customers aiming to do returns, ordering them where to stand and to move out of the way etc. On all 3 visits he has worn his mask under his nose with no sign of fixing it. There are signs up telling all customers how to wear a mask and he's very strict with where everyone stands and how many come in but doesn't comply himself.
